PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Averrhoa carambola leaf extract composition capable of being improved in its unpleasant tastes, such as a bitter taste and a astringent taste, which the Averrhoa carambola leaf extract has, by a simple operation, extremely useful for producing food and drink, because the extract is excellent in economy and safety, and capable of being applied to various fields for which the Averrhoa carambola leaf extract is required.;SOLUTION: This Averrhoa carambola leaf extract composition contains (A) at least one compound selected from a sugar alcohol, edible acids, monosaccharides having such a sweetness as to be 0.1 to 0.7 time the sweetness of sucrose, and disaccharides having such a sweetness as to be 0.1 to 0.7 time the sweetness of the sucrose and (B) the Averrhoa carambola leaf extract.
