PURPOSE: To generate information depending on the physical structure and the internal processing of an exchange without need to pay attention to it and to reduce the job quantity such as generation, revision and check of the translator by comparing a station number described in unitary information with a station number described in individual information and expanding the set information to be a tree structure. ;CONSTITUTION: Translator information such as accommodation information of telephone numbers or the like is divided into unitary information 1 comprising all pairs of telephone numbers of a minimum digit number required definitely with a called exchange in a specific communication network and station numbers corresponding to an exchange and into individual information 2 comprising station numbers representing a specific exchange. When the translator is generated, the station number described in the unitary information 1 and the station number described in the individual information 2 are compared by a station data generating function 3 to generate station data 4 of the exchange. When the result of comparison indicates a difference, a processing index of outgoing connection is set and when the result of comparison indicates a coincidence, a processing index of own station incoming reception is set automatically.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
