PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform charging transactions smoothly by grasping electric energy consumption properly.;SOLUTION: This system for measuring electric energy 10 is provided with an electronic watt-hour meter 20 and a terminal for electric energy consumption 30. When a transaction indication value, that is, an indication value at the starting time point of applying a rate system, is set by the electronic watt-hour meter 20, a transaction indication value information, that is, an information on the transaction indication value, is received by the terminal for electric energy consumption 30. The setting time point of the transaction indication value is set for the starting point for the calculation of the electric energy consumption based on a demand/supply calendar by the terminal for electric energy consumption 30. Thus, since the setting time point of the transaction indication value as the starting time point of applying the rate system coincides the starting point of the calculation based on the demand/supply calendar, the electric energy consumption from the starting time point of applying the rate system can be grasped properly and the charging transactions can be performed smoothly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
