PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the slip of the V belt of a continuously variable transmission and to improve fuel efficiency. PSOLUTION: A hydraulic oil flow quantity QSBmodel/SB(n) flowing in a primary oil chamber 30c is calculated with a physical model (S105). The prediction value of a speed change ratio SBmodel/SB(n+T) after a prescribed time T is calculated with the flow quantity QSBmodel/SB(n), and the rotation speed prediction value NINSBmodel/SB(n+T) of an input shaft 26 after the prescribed time T is calculated (S106-S108). Then, input inertial torque TRQI(n) is calculated with the prediction value NINSBmodel/SB(n+T), and belt pinch pressure PSBout/SB(n) is increased in consideration of the torque TRQI(n) (S109-S111).
