PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing unit capable of highly reliable management of clinical research data. PSOLUTION: The clinical research data processing unit has a clinical research result data receiving means receiving result data from computers of clinical research organizations where questions and examinations are given. The clinical research result data contain the results of questions and examinations as well as data for specifying the questions and examinations. The unit has a confirmation means that detects suspicious data if any that may mislead the specification of the result-yielding questions and examinations. The unit authorizes the output of a case report containing finalized question and examination results only when there is no suspicious data in the received clinical research result data.
