PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for learning foreign language conversation utilizing a peer-to-peer matching in an online virtual community.;SOLUTION: An instantaneous peer-to-peer matching service for foreign language conversation utilizing the diversity of members in an online virtual community is provided by the system and method. The system for learning foreign language conversation includes a central signal monitoring module, a member managing module, a member profile database, a tutorial instructor authentication module, a question for authentication database, an instantaneous matching module, and a connection re-directing module. The method for learning foreign language conversation includes starting-up of a browsing and controlling interface and transmission of a user login request, instantaneous peer-to-peer matching in accordance with member's individual profile and portfolio, connection re-direction from a student to a tutorial instructor in accordance with the matching result, and storage of connection record into a member profile database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
