PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently control the movements of each arm of a duplex arm robot having a single arm and double arms or more and change the number of arms in accordance with a production process easily to improve the productivity. SOLUTION: A plurality of single arm robots 102 are connected with a robot controller 300, and their movements are controlled. The robot controller 300 can switch a pair of arbitrarily adjacent single arm robots 102 as a double arm robot 106 and control their movements. By installing a plurality of robot controllers 300, a production system in which a plurality of single arm robots 102 and the double arm robot 106 by means of a pair of single arm robots 102 are arranged can be constituted to change a configuration of robots in accordance with the production process flexibly.
