PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incline an appliance body of a monitor or the like from an upright condition by a simple operation.;SOLUTION: A control unit 13 stores the inclination of the monitor in a storage unit 14 when an instruction of storing the inclination is input. When the monitor in the upright condition detects that a button 12 is operated, the control unit 13 drives a turning motor 6 to turn the monitor downward and to incline the monitor forward. In this condition, the control unit 13 reads the inclination stored in the storage unit 14, compares it with the inclination of the monitor specified from the result of measurement by an angular sensor 8, and detects that the monitor is inclined to a desired inclination. The control unit 13 maintains the monitor in the inclined condition by stopping the drive of the turning motor 6 based on the result of detection. When the button 12 is operated again, the control unit 13 drives the turning motor 6 and returns the monitor to the upright condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
