INTEGRATION METHOD FOR MINIMIZING UNBALANCE BY WEIGHT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONNECTING RODS, AND INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH MINIMIZED UNBALANCE BY WEIGHT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONNECTING RODS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine that effectively suppresses vibration of a crankshaft due to a difference in big end side weight between connecting rods, and an integration method for a connecting rod that can effectively suppress vibration of the crankshaft. ;SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine with a plurality of cylinders has a first group of such half of all the disposed connecting rods as rank from the top in terms of big end side weight, and a second group of the rest of the connecting rods. The connecting rods of the first group are arranged in descending order of big end side weight, and the connecting rods of the second group are arranged in ascending order of big end side weight. With the arrangement of the connecting rods of each of the first group and the second group kept unchanged, the connecting rod of the first group with the heaviest big end side weight and the connecting rod of the second group with the lightest big end side weight are juxtaposed to set an arrangement of all the connecting rods.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
