METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC-STEERING OF RICE TRANSPLANTER AND RICE TRANSPLANTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a rice transplanter straight by stabilizing the transplanter with an automatic steering in rice transplanting work.;SOLUTION: In the rice transplanting work, gutters 17a-17d formed on the surface soil layer in a field by rear wheels 2, 3 are utilized as guiding gutters, and the transplanter is traveled by matching sleds 13, 14 as freely capable of shaking along the guiding gutters. The sled 13 is constituted by a float sliding over the surface of the field and a fin-shaped guiding plate, and the guiding plate fits to the guiding gutter 17c formed by a previous transplanting work. The sleds 13, 14 are attached at the tips of steering arms 11, 12 freely capable of up and down shaking. The direction of the sleds 13, 14 always agrees to the direction of the front wheel 1 of the transplanter by a linking mechanism, therefore, if the machine body is beginning to proceed an inclined direction from the direction along to the gutter 17c, it immediately and automatically returns to the direction along the gutter 17c and goes straight.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
