WATER-IN-OIL TYPE EMULSION OR METHOD FOR NON- EXPLOSIBILITY OF WATER-IN-OIL TYPE EMULSION EXPLOSIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for non-explosibility which is capable of simply, easily, safely and efficiently removing the water-in-oil type (W/O type) emulsions or the remaining parts of W/O type emulsion expolosives sticking to the inside surfaces of manufacturing apparatus, packing apparatus or conveyance apparatus in various manufactured process steps and is capable of simply, easily, safely and efficiently treating the remaining parts, etc., after the removal. ;SOLUTION: A prescribed volume of water is added and mixed to and with the W/O type emulsions or the W/O type emulsion explosives and the mixture is heated and/or agitated, by which the oxidizers in the components are eluted into the water and are made non-explosive. The mixture is then rested for the specified time, by which the mixture is separated to an oil phase and a water phase. The water phase is sent to a waste water treatment equipment and the oil phase is treated as an oil waste.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
