ARRANGEMENT OF ROLLERS OR THE LIKE IN FOREST INDUSTRY CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in carriers used in forest industry mounted with winches and cranes wherein defects emerge, dependent on roller arrangement, in the run of wires thereon causing wire displacement or irregular wire winding making the lumber loading and fixing process difficult.;SOLUTION: In this arrangement, portal type winch columns and a crane are linked with each other and a fixed sheave is provided at the winch column section. Near the fixed sheave, a winch drum guide roller is arranged at about the upper middle section of the winch drum for winding the winch wire uniformly on both right and left sides, which is for the prevention of irregular winding during the upward or downward movement of the boom. A swing sheave rotatable on a shaft is installed at the tip of the crane boom, and the winch wire is made to run above the boom for the enlargement of distance between the chassis frame and the boom.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
