PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine management system and a copying machine management method for accurately predicting consumption of expendables. SOLUTION: A host computer 100 collects consumption information of expendables from each of a plurality of copying machines 103, extracts a time series tendency of the consumption of the expendables of each copying machine on the basis of the consumption information of the expendables, compares the time series tendencies of the consumption of the expendables of the copying machines, predicts the consumption of the expendables of the copying machines whose consumption time series tendency are similar and informs a service shop of the copying machines about the predicted result.
