PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for attaching and removing an optical fiber connector housing being optical parts to be connected which attaches and removes an optical fiber connector housing to and from optical parts while clamping the optical fiber connector housing.;SOLUTION: The attaching and removing tool 1 for the optical fiber connector housing is provided with an arm part 2 and a slide supporting part 3 which freely slidably supports the arm part 2 in the longitudinal direction, engaging parts 8a and 8b which are engaged with the optical fiber connector housing are provided at one of the arm part 2 and the slide supporting part 3, clamping arm parts 15a and 15b are provided at the other of them with a prescribed space with respect to the engaged parts 8a and 8b, and the optical fiber connector housing is clamped via the engaged parts 8a and 8b and the clamping arm parts 15a and 15b according to the sliding motion of the arm part 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
