PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for breeding pigs, enabling tasty pork to be produced by eliminating stress from young pigs so as to improve their growth performance and palatability and thereby improve the quality of meat, and to provide pig breeding feed used in the method for breeding pigs. SOLUTION: The method for breeding pigs comprises feeding anis, garlic, fenugreek and lady's-thistle to pigs together with a formula feed for pigs or adding them to the formula feed or a raw material for the formula feed; wherein it is more effective to give at least one kind of horseradish and milfoil together with the above four. The formula feed for pigs preferably comprises either of a formula feed for breeding suckling baby pigs, that for breeding baby pigs or that for breeding pork pigs.
