INTER-LIBRARY LENDING/BORROWING SYSTEM, PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for efficiently requesting or receiving requests for document copy or loan between libraries in collaboration with such systems as NACSIS-ILL provided by the National Institute of Informatics.;SOLUTION: A server 11 is connected to NACSIS-CAT 21/ILL 22 via network 30 to be able to access a catalog DB 13 and a mutual loan DB 12d, and is connected to a user's client device 15 through LAN. The server 11 retrieves bibliographical data of the documents from NACSIS-CAT 21 in response to user's application for copy or loan request, downloads the retrieved bibliographical data, generates request information based on the downloaded bibliographical data, and registers the generated request information with the mutual loan DB 12d. The server 11 selects the library having the documents to request for copy or loan based on the request information, and then uploads and registers the request information with NACSIS-ILL 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
