Method to provide a value-added Service (VAS) in a Telecommunications Network, Telecommunications Integrated Network, and willingness to provide a value-added Service (VAS) to a user in a Telecommunication Network
A system and Method are disclosed for providing Value Added Services (VAS) in an integrated Telecom Network (200) is a portion of packet Communication Network (PSN) that can operate using the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The Telecommunications Integrated Network includes a Server SIP SSP ext.(204), an Activation Server (206) and a service node (212) that has a Service Logic Program (SLP) (216) that can operate with the Application Protocol of Intelligent Networks (INAP). The SSP and SIP Agent Service nodes are provided with the ability to communicate using messages that comply with the SIP.They provide new header Fields which specify operations to be performed by the service node (212) with respect to a Service. The Parametric Data of INAP service are also provided on the header Fields in a Sequential Way.When a call is received at the server sipext SSP (204) for a user who has a ticket for you, the same query the user profile stored in the Activation Server (206).If the user is subscribed to the service, a message log is made based on the user profile where appropriate headings are populated with relevant Parametric Information and context Data calls. The service node (212) triggers the SLP (216) based on the information provided in the request message and sends a reply message to the SIP Server (204) with a sipext SSP instruction regarding the provision of the vas.The server pipext SSP thereafter takes an appropriate action based on the Parametric Response Message and any information contained in it.
