Construction of DNA when expressed in plant cells and Plants confers tolerance to the herbicide glyphosate. Methods to produce and select a monocot tolerant to glyphosate. We provide sets of elements (kits) and methods to detect the presence of genetic / genomic region of the insertion of a New Corn Plant called PV ZMGT32 (NK603).The plants and Seeds of this zmgt (PV - Maize NK603 glyphosate tolerant), whose access number is ATCC PTA 2478, and Progeny derived therefrom, are also described.
