A data profile for temporary replacement of a key worker is compared with a record containing data about candidates available for replacement, in accordance with a specific rule. A replacement index indicating the probability of candidates matching the profile, is calculated based on the comparison result. Based on the replacement index, the temporary replacement of key worker is performed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) temporary replacement supporting method; (2) temporary replacement supporting program; and (3) data carrier.
