The invention relates to power devices, gas accelerating and gas transporting devices and can be used for aircraft as a ducted jet engine, internal combustion engines for surface transport means, a nozzle set of a gas turbine and for many other industries for producing energy from a vacuum in order to accelerate or heat gas. Said invention can be also used as aerosol concentrating devices. The aim of the invention is to reduce energy consumption during the triggering mode and extend the scope thereof. In order to achieve said aim, the inventive method for accelerating gas and producing energy involves the following: a cavity is pumped out by a source of forced pumping which operates in a supersonic jet mode, a pressure differential produced by the ejection of said cavity in the accelerating part of the ejector is used in the cavity. A gas flow is additionally accelerated to high speeds, thereby enhancing the effect of ejection and vacuum of the cavity. Afterwards, the vacuumisation of the cavity and the acceleration of the gas flow is reciprocally continued in such a way that the maximum admissible limit thereof is obtained. Additional kinetic energy produced by the gas flow acceleration is evacuated by said gas flow from the cavity through the output part of the ejector.
