PURPOSE: A shopping mall operation method and system is provided to store purchaser data, commodity data and expense to be incurred in selling the commodity at a database, to calculate a profit if the commodity is purchased by the purchaser, and to pay back a part or all of the profit to the purchaser. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an access module(11), an operation system(12), a shopping mall management module(13), a database management module(14) and a database(15). The shopping mall management module(13) includes a profit calculation program. The access module(11) enables a terminal to access the system over the internet. The operation system(12) operates the access module(11), the shopping mall management module(13), and the database management module(14). The shopping mall management module(13) makes the database management module(14) manage the database(15), for example, a database search or a database analysis. The database(15) stores purchaser data, commodity data and expense incurred in selling the commodity. The profit calculation program calculates a profit as soon as or after the commodity is purchased, and the shopping mall management module(13) pays back a part or all of the calculated profit to the purchaser.
