PURPOSE: A method for analyzing stress based on a volume integral equation method is provided to efficiently analyze transformation, transformation rate, stress distribution generated in an isotropic infinite solid state including a plurality of isotropic or anisotropic containing substances, a cavity, and a crack when the isotropic infinite solid state receives static and dynamic infinite load, and analyze a dispersion problem of an elastic wave by the anisotropic containing substances and the cavity. CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing stress based on a volume integral equation method includes the steps of generating a volume integral equation method model by using a finite element method preprocessor, converting data output from the finite element method preprocessor into input data of the volume integral equation method, executing an analysis by using a volume integral equation method program, converting the analysis result of the volume integral equation method into data to be postprocessed at a finite element method postprocessor, and executing postprocessing at the finite element method postprocessor.
