The Method for Online Transient Stability Estimation of Power System and It's System

PURPOSE: A method for evaluating online transient stability of a power system and a system thereof are provided to prevent previously the failure of the power system by calculating the online transient stability for a critical accident. CONSTITUTION: A database is formed with a power system state database(10), a critical accident database(11), and a transient stability analysis database(12). Data of an energy management system(S100) indexed by a scheduling module(80) are stored in the power system state database(10). The critical accident database(11) is used for storing the data of an operator. The transient stability analysis database(12) is used for storing the finally analyzed result after the transient stability analysis is performed. Input data(S101) are formed with bus data(20), line data(21), generator data(22), load data(23), and critical accident data(24). A critical clearing time is calculated by generator groupings(40,41), equivalent one machine infinite bus modules(50,51), and CT and stability margin calculation modules(60,61).
