Automatic sprinkler system having common utilization of the living water supply piping and the sprinkler piping in a building

PURPOSE: A simplified automatic sprinkler system with combined use of a house domestic water supply pipe is provided to enable a safe refuge by rapidly suppressing a fire upon the occurrence of a fire. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal pipe(1) of a bulb diameter and a length to receive a proper amount of water is mounted on a ceiling side space of an interior. Water is supplied to a fire detector type automatic sprinkler(3) mounted on an upper part of the interior directly from the horizontal pipe. In a case that the automatic sprinkler is opened due to a fire in the interior, a container valve(12) of a compressed gas storage container(4) is interlocked and opened by the electric switch function of the automatic sprinkler. Thus, the spinning of water from the sprinkler is achieved properly by the pressure of gas automatically supplied from the storage container to the horizontal pipe.
