PURPOSE: A preparation method of microcapsules using polymer polymerized from monomer having alkyl group in which the number of carbon atoms is 8 to 18 as phase change materials is provided, and articles including microcapsules prepared thereby are provided. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of microcapsules containing phase change materials comprises the steps of adding 10 to 50 weight parts of organic phase consisting of 0 to 70 wt.% of nonpolar organic solvent, 10 to 90 wt.% of polymerizable monomer phase change materials having alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms and 10 to 50 wt.% of compound having two or more isocyanate groups to a solution in which 0.2 to 10 weight parts of surfactant is dissolved into 100 weight parts of water, and emulsifying the mixed solution as agitating the solution and organic phase; and injecting at least one compound selected from the group consisting of diethylenetriamine, ethylenediamine, triethylenetetramine and melamine solution and the compound having two or more isocyanate groups to the emulsified solution in a weight ratio of 100:20 to 300, and reacting the compounds with the emulsified solution so that urea bonding is formed.
