PURPOSE: Provided is a garbage disposal apparatus using biological and mechanical actions and allowing the final product of garbage disposal to be used as compost. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a closed frame (F) having, a crushing unit (C) installed at a lower portion of the frame (F) in the frame (F) for sorting and crushing garbage introduced thereinto through a hopper, a mixing unit (M) installed at a lower portion of the frame (F) for mixing crushed garbage with microorganism filter media, a driving unit for supplying driving force to the crushing unit (C) and the mixing unit (M), a driving force transmission unit for transmitting driving force of the driving unit to the crushing unit (C) and the mixing unit (M), an air supply and temperature control unit (A/T) for heating external air and introducing the heated hot air to the frame (F) and maintaining inside temperature of the frame (F), an inner gas purification unit for purifying inner gas and odor in the frame (F) using plasma and exhausting treated clean air, a control unit for controlling the operation of the air supply and temperature control unit (A/T) and the inner gas purification unit, a sensing unit for detecting temperatures or other conditions of the frame (F) and the mixing unit (M) and transmitting a signal to the control unit, and a central control unit installed outside of the frame (F) and electrically connected to the control unit for inputting a control signal having operation conditions of the whole apparatus to the control unit.
