PURPOSE: A construction method for an underground structure for placing remains is provided to form large-scale facilities for placing remains without damaging natural environment. CONSTITUTION: The construction method for an underground structure for placing remains comprises the steps of: forming many passage tunnels(11) connected to the outside; excavating many connection tunnels(12) to intersect the passage tunnels(11); forming many burial tunnels(14) connected to the passage tunnel adjacent to one passage tunnel and the connection tunnel adjacent to one connection tunnel; forming many urns in the burial tunnels(14).
