METHOD FOR DETERMINING EXTRACORPORAL DETOXICATION DURATION IN THE CASES OF OPIATE ABSTINENCE SYNDROME

SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out continuous monitoring evaluation of spectral values describing sinusoid rhythm variability during extracorporal detoxication session. 5-min long arrays of cardiointerval values are continuously subjected to fast Fourier transformation processing based on known algorithms to obtain spectral power density values in three bandwidth areas: 0.4-0.15 Hz as high frequency (HF), 0.15-0.04 Hz as low frequency (LF), 0.04-0.03 Hz as very low frequency (VLF) measured in sq. ms. Detoxication end is recognized by 3-fold and more VLF and LF reduction when compared to data obtained before detoxication. No changes being observed, detoxication is continued to reduce these values.
