FIELD: biotechnology, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes DNA-construct of viable chimeric recombinant flavivirus comprising structural genes encoding proteins preM and E of virus Langat, protein C of virus Langat or mosquito virus and nonstructural genes of mosquito flavivirus. DNA-construct is used as a component of vaccine against tick-borne encephalitis virus. Vaccine against tick-borne encephalitis virus is used in method for prophylaxis of infection of human with tick-borne encephalitis virus. Vaccine provides stable protection from the following infection with tick-borne encephalitis virus.
