The brake disc is formed as a cast iron component with a disc head (1) and 2 friction ring discs (3,3') attached to the disc head, with coupling regions (2) between them defining ventilation channels (5). The friction surfaces (4,4') of the friction ring discs are provided with partial regions having a different structure, the ventilation channels formed by removal of material from beneath these partial regions.
