The continuous material, for use as tentage, has a shell of an impermeable material with an outer tent skin (4) and an inner tent skin (1). The flat tent floor (2) is bonded continuously to both tent skins. A number of strips (5) are worked at the outer skin, with straps or pockets, to take the tent poles for erection when unrolled. The inner skin can be cut with the plastics holding strips, to give separate inner tents which can be shut by closing edges. The large outer tent has an access opening to the interior. The continuous tent material can be cut into suitable lengths according to the number of tents needed.
