Method in which an image scene (1) is selected and then low resolution image elements (13, 14, 15) are selected and positioned in the scene at desired points. The scene and image element data is stored in a file that is then used by a second data processing unit to generate a final image with high resolution images at the selected points so that a final image can be generated.
