Ball joint consists of an outer cylindrical housing, an inner joint part with a pin supporting a ball section, a bearing ring comprising the ball section, and annular seals on both sides of the pin ends. Annular gaps (40, 42) are formed around the pins (18, 20) next to the ball section. The gaps are (in)directly filled with a damping fluid. Preferred Features: The gaps are limited on the bearing ring by annular extensions (36, 38). The pin sections (18a, 20a) lying next to the annular gaps and the extensions are conical shaped with diameters decreasing toward the pin ends.
