Device for measurement and evaluation of an illuminating reflecting object (11) arranged beneath a hemispherical pole (13), especially a reflective display. The device comprises a detectors (17) arranged to detect light originating from the illuminating object that is diffusely reflected from the concave surface of the hemisphere. The detectors are designed to detect light over only a very small surface element.
