Expressing nucleic acids with adenoviral E2 late promoter (A), or its fragment, other than those genes or nucleic acid normally controlled by (A), comprising activation by Y-box-binding protein-1 (YB-1), is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a nucleic acid construct (NC) comprising (A), or its fragments; (2) a nucleic acid, i.e. a transgene, gene or nucleic acid, other than the nucleic acid normally controlled by (A); and (3) a vector containing (NC).
