The rotor blade damper (10-13), for a helicopter rotor without bearings, is between the swing joint of a flexbeam and its transit to the blade bonded to the flexbeam and the control cone. The elastomer damping unit (4) is between a base plate (2) and a cover plate (3). The damper has a different thickness over its base surface, according to the radial gap from a theoretical rotary pole of the damping system, with an increasing layer thickness on an increasing radial gap between a position in the damper and the rotary pole.
