The collecting bowl (1) for a conditioning unit consists of an inner (2) and an outer (3) trough, between which no fluid exchange can take place except over the upper edge of a partitioning wall. A crosspiece (4) is located inside the inner trough or outer trough and upon which can be located salt crystals. A crosspiece may be located between the inner and outer troughs and have salt crystals located upon it.
