The lock housing, fixed to a door or door frame, consists of a covering plate (2) and back plate (1) which are joined by two spaced apart spacer pieces in the form of spacer bolts (3,3'). A closure bracket (6) is inserted into a mouth-piece (5) formed between the cover and rear plates. The closure bracket is fixed to the door-frame or door. The covering and rear plates are joined at the edge of the lock housing near the mouthpiece.
