The method involves inserting a tubular hollow inner member (12) into a tubular hollow outer member (14), and inserting both members into a die. Pressure is applied to the inner diameter of the inner member so that both members expand to contact the inner diameter of the die and conform to the die shape. The applied pressure is relieved, after which the members are pulled out of the die. An Independent claim is also included for a drive line assembly.
