A hood (30) is installed at the upper end of a carrier (10) which is fixed to the front end of a vehicle body. The carrier has a top beam (12) that is integrated and horizontally projects from the upper end of a pillar (11). The hood has a hood stopper (31) that collides with the stopper surface (12a) of the top beam during closing operation of the hood.
