Mechanical smoke extraction installation, for several building fire section, has common smoke extraction duct with fire protection flaps and fan(s)

To each fire section is allocated at least one first control for fire protection flaps, coupled to fire detectors, for closing-opening all coupled flaps. All first controls are linked to each other by bus, and to second control. In case of fire, second control activates fan. When ventilating capacity is used up, first controls are blocked to prevent further fire sections to be connected to smoke extraction duct by opening fire protection flap.
