The motor vehicle's seat has a seat cushion (12), and a flexible stabilizing band (20) to which is connected a tensioning device (24). Before the activating of the tensioning device the stabilizing band has a first length (L1) between two opposite supporting positions. With activating of the tensioning device the length of the stabilizing band between the supporting points is reduced in relation to the first length, and at least one section of the stabilizing band moves in the direction of the upper side (18) of the seat cushion.
