A one-trip drinking mug (5) has a cavity sidewall (3) and a handle (7). The cup is equipped with a separate ring stand (11) inserted in the cup base on legs (13). The ring supports a sieve (17) under which e.g. an instant tea or coffee bag is positioned and manipulated as required.
