Opening/closing mechanism for a swing-out window comprises a sliding rail (30) which is fixed to the upper and lower part of the window frame, a sliding block (31), a fixing block, and a stopper block which is arranged in the sliding rail. The fixing block contains a lower recess and a lateral groove. When the fixing block moves in the sliding rail a lip plate interacts with the lateral groove.
