Manually operated zero-load high speed lifting tool (10) comprises a lifting arm (1) and a lever (2) connected to each other. Under zero load an axis (11) of the lifting arm is used as the lifting pivot point to move the lifting arm quickly upward into a position in contact with a load. Preferred Features: One end of the lever is inserted in an opening (101) molded in a suitable position on the lifting arm. Pressing down of the lever under zero load drives the lifting arm so that it moves quickly upward.
