The structure consists of a panel (10) with upper and lower main surfaces (12, 14) designed to absorb at least a part of the impinging sound waves, mounted on a mobile support (30) with a foot (34) that rests on the floor. The panel is made, for example, from four triangular sections (18, 20, 22, 24) joined to a rigid frame so they meet at one point (28) in a pyramid shape. Each section is made e.g. from textile layers enclosing natural or synthetic cellular or fibre mats.
