The method of control for a motor vehicle drive group involves producing a signal representative of user steering input (1). A preset regime value is calculated as a function of the dynamic condition of the vehicle and steering inputs to optimize at least one of the vehicle dynamic parameters. The operation of the drive group is controlled using a monitoring model. An Independent claim is included for a motor vehicle control circuit using the above method.
