The method comprises the construction on site of the roadway (15) by casting in formwork made from a metal frame (10) abutted against the bridge rear support leg (4). A low friction coating (11) is screwed on the frame. The roadway is progressively displaced forwards until it is supported on the piles and the bridge support legs. The forwards displacement is made by sliding inside the formwork playing the role of a guide runner by pulling on longitudinal cables by means of actuators (16).
