Three-dimensional scene modeling process, involves calculating point of reference image on basis of set of images, of defined minimum and maximum depth values of point depth corresponding to maximum distortion
The process involves predetermining a maximum permitted distortion (5) on a two-dimensional (2D) synthesized image (4). A point (I) of a reference image (7) is calculated on a set of image (4) with minimum (zi-zi3) and maximum (zi+zi2) depth values of depth (zi). A span around depth (zi) is calculated, dependant on an error value (zi2) and on the error value (zi1) among the calculated values.
