Interface Protocol Configured According to Cultural Profile

A means of displaying an interface to a Computer-User according to a protocol derived from profile information containing attributes relating to the culture of the User. Information relating to the culture of a User may be entered into a computer (30) and stored as a profile (31). Such information is then made available to an application having a User Interface (UI). Elements of the UI may then be selected or adapted according to the attributes of the User profile (31). Such attributes may comprise language, ethnic origin and country of origin. In this way elements such as advertising, graphics and colours may be selected to be appropriate for a particular culture. The User computer may access a relevant application via a website (32).
